How it works

Set up once. Then just read.

No categories to create, no budgets to fill in, no rules to write.

  1. 01

    Connect your bank

Sign in on your bank's own page through Plaid. Cashfield never sees your password and can't move money.

  2. 02

    Cashfield sorts it

Every transaction gets a category. Card payments and moves between your own accounts never count as spending.

  3. 03

    Read, or ask

See what this month did, where it went and what repeats. Ask about anything you see.

Features

Everything it works out for you

See how this month is going

Your spending so far against the same days last month, drawn as it builds. Green where you had spent less by that day, red where you had spent more.

Hold a finger on the chart to read any day.

More about Spending

Cashfield's Spending screen with example data: C$211.95 spent from August 1 to 16, C$52.85 less than the same days in July, with the gap between the two running totals shaded green where spending was lower
Cashfield's spending categories with example data: Food and drink at 38 percent, Transport at 31 percent and Entertainment at 8 percent, with the shops paid underneath

Where your money went, and what changed

Every category with its share of your spending and how it moved against the period before. Tap one to see the shops and kinds of spending inside it.

Pick any period: this month, last month, a year or dates you choose.

More about categories

Every subscription and bill, found for you

Cashfield spots what repeats in your own transactions, estimates what it all costs a month and says when to expect each charge.

When a charge stops arriving, it asks whether you still pay for it. Nothing to add by hand.

More about recurring payments

Cashfield's Recurring payments screen with example data: an estimate of what subscriptions and bills cost a month, the charges coming up and the active subscriptions
Cashfield's Transactions screen with example data: transactions grouped by day, each with its category, account and amount

Every transaction, sorted and searchable

Search by name, category or amount, and filter by type, date, account or category.

If a category is wrong, fix it once and Cashfield files that shop the same way from then on. Cash and other spending can be added by hand.

More about Transactions

Ask

Ask about your own money

Ask from where you are: why spending is lower this month, what a subscription has cost this year, which shop took the most.

Every figure in an answer is calculated by Cashfield from your transactions. The AI only writes the sentence around it.

Nothing is sent to the AI provider until you allow it.

Look for Ask on Spending, a category, a transaction or a subscription.

The example on the Overview screen above

Card payments count once

Paying off a credit card isn't new spending. The purchases were already counted when you made them.

Transfers need both sides

Money moved between your own accounts leaves your totals only when both sides of the move match.

Refunds come off spending

A refund lowers what you spent in that category instead of showing up as income.

You decide what counts

Leave a charge out of your spending and it still counts in cash flow, because the money still left.

Security and privacy

Cashfield reads. It never moves money.

Paid for by its subscription and nothing else, so your information is never the product.

Read-only access

Cashfield can read balances and transactions. It can't move money or make a payment.

Your password stays at your bank

You sign in on your bank's own page through Plaid. Cashfield never sees or stores it.

Encrypted and walled off

Bank connection keys are encrypted at rest, and each person's records are kept apart by the database itself.

No ads. Never sold.

No advertising, no data sales, and usage analytics stay off unless you turn them on.

AI only with your OK

Nothing goes to an AI provider until you allow it, and it never sees your bank login.

Yours to take, or to delete

FAQ

Questions people ask

More answers in the FAQ. Something else? Write to info@ovesyantechinc.com or visit Support.

Is it safe to connect my bank?

Cashfield connects through Plaid, which banks and thousands of apps use for exactly this. You sign in on your bank's own page, Cashfield never sees your password, and the access is read-only: it can't move money or make payments.

Do I have to set up a budget?

No. Cashfield sorts your transactions and shows where your money went without budgets or rules. If a category is wrong, fix it once and Cashfield files that shop the same way from then on.

Does paying my credit card count as spending?

No. The purchases on the card were counted when you made them, so paying the card off is money moving between your own accounts, not new spending. Cashfield finds those payments from both ends and counts them once.

How much does it cost?

US$9.99 a month in the US and CA$12.99 in Canada, after a 7-day free trial. You subscribe and cancel through the App Store or Google Play.

Does Cashfield sell my data or show ads?

No. There are no ads, your data is never sold, and usage analytics stay off unless you turn them on.
